There is no doubt that the iPad is fantastic for a range of applications and one of the things that makes it this way is the touch sensitive screen which incorporates some of the best multitouch features available today. One of the iPad apps that has been quick to realise the potential of the touch screen technology included in the iPad is an application called UPAD. The idea behind this application is that it will make writing and drawing on the iPad an extremely easy experience. It will open your eyes to a whole new world of things that you can do on the iPad.

There are many handwriting tools in the iTunes app store for the iPad, but this one is the most feature rich. The idea is that you will now be able to use your iPad for a variety of different things by using the touch screen. You will be able to write notes in a new way, edit your photos, annotate different texts and much more. The applcation has a few different modes which allows you to do all of the things that we have mentioned above as efficiently and easily as possible. upad screenshot

The design of this particular iPad app is very nice indeed. Most of the iPad screen is taken up with a blank canvas where you will be able to begin your work but there is a nice, easy to use navigation bar on the screen which will allow you to utilise the applcation in a number of ways and use many different features that are included.

As we have mentioned, there are three different modes of the UPAD applcation, these are; MemoPAD, BookPAD and PhotoPAD. Each of these has their own features. MemoPAD being the feature that is designed for note taking. With MemPAD, you will be able to select from a number of different paper styles and you will then be able to start taking notes. You can use the applcation with either a stylus or your finger with the stylus providing more accurate results. This mode is great for taking notes in a college class and so on.

PhotoPAD is the mode of the applcation that will allow you to edit your photos. You will be able to get a photo from the photo library and then add captions, photo frames, comments and even draw extra parts onto your photo. This is extremely easy to do and is a great feature of the applcation.

The last mode is the BookPAD mode. With this mode you will be able to annotate PDF files in many ways. You will be able to add your own notes to the files, highlight text, make sketches and much more. This is a great mode if you are looking to make notes on a particular book or document.

There are also many other features to the UPAD applcation such as different pen colours and styles and much more. The app is available for just $4.99 from the iTunes app store.
